MUSCOY, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. Residents of unincorporated Muscoy can dispose of household junk and bulky items at a free county-organized community cleanup on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon. The event will take place at Muscoy Elementary School, 2119 Blake Street, San Bernardino.
What residents can bring
San Bernardino County Land Use Services and Public Works say the event accepts household trash, bulky items, green waste, up to nine tires per load, including tires with rims, documents for onsite shredding, and selected electronic devices. Electronics such as televisions, monitors, VCRs, stereos and cellphones will be collected by the Urban Conservation Corps. Residents may also pick up compost while supplies last, but must bring their own containers.
Items the county will turn away
Business and commercial waste is not accepted. Neither are concrete, batteries, motor oil, antifreeze, gasoline, pesticides, fertilizers, fluorescent lights, pool chemicals, paint products or medicine. For hazardous-waste disposal options, the county lists 800-645-9228 and 909-382-5401.
How to prepare your vehicle
The county asks visitors to secure and cover all loads while driving and to be ready to unload their own items at the site. Oversized or difficult loads may be refused, and the event may end earlier than noon if collection equipment fills up. For questions, call the Code Enforcement analyst at 909-383-2133.
The county describes this as a service for residents of the unincorporated Muscoy community, not an open disposal program for all businesses or commercial haulers in the region. Residents of neighboring incorporated cities should check their own disposal services.
